DIWASS , the Digital Waste and Shipment System , is the European Commission's central platform for processing electronic notifications for cross-border waste transport, integrated with TRACES NT.
Under EU Regulation 2024/1157, digital submission is mandatory: from 21 May 2026 for red- and amber-list shipments, and from 1 January 2027 for green-list shipments (Annex VII).
