The problem

There is no
DIWASS desk.

Electronic submission has been mandatory for the notification procedure since 21 May 2026. Many companies know they have to register, but get stuck on where and how.

There is no sign-up button

DIWASS is a system, not a website you sign up on. The route runs through your own competent authority and differs per country.

The requirements are technical

Route 1, 2 or 3. XML schemas, digital signing, system connections. Terminology that assumes an IT department you may not have.

A mistake sets you back

An incomplete registration comes back, rejoins the queue, and in the meantime your shipment stands still.

1 · You register online

During onboarding you select DIWASS registration, enter your company details and pay straight away. A few minutes of work.

2 · We check and submit

We check your details, complete them where needed and handle the registration with the ILT, OVAM or UBA. So that nothing comes back.

3 · You receive the confirmation

Written confirmation that we have submitted your registration, and the registration number as soon as your competent authority issues it. The decision on the registration rests with that authority. After that you can start reporting, yourself or through the Travas platform.

After registration

Registration is step one.
Reporting comes after.

Once you have a registration number, you have to report each shipment to the competent authority. You can do that yourself. Or through the Travas platform, where the form, the signing and the submission run automatically. Both procedures are covered by the same subscription.

Annex VII procedure

Non-hazardous waste falls under the lighter information requirements. The Annex VII form replaces the heavy notification procedure. Travas generates, signs and submits it automatically.

No set-up costs and no limits. You provide your payment details when you sign up; after thirty days the subscription continues and we invoice.

About the DIWASS registration

No. You can submit the registration yourself directly with your competent authority, free of charge. We offer the service for companies that do not have the time or the technical knowledge and want the certainty that it is right first time.
We check your details before submission precisely to avoid that. If the registration does come back with a request for additional information, we handle that within the same assignment and at no extra cost. The decision on the registration rests with the competent authority.
No. The registration is a stand-alone service that you pay for separately. Afterwards you can report yourself or choose another supplier. If you do want to use the platform, you get 30 calendar days free of charge and without obligation to try it. Our general terms and conditions apply to the subscription.
Yes. We handle the registration whether you work with the green list (Annex VII, mandatory from 1 January 2027), the amber list (notification procedure, mandatory from 21 May 2026) or both.
Straight away when you complete onboarding, before we submit the registration. One-off € 500 excl. VAT, non-refundable once the submission has taken place. For business customers in another EU country with a valid VAT number, VAT is reverse charged. Outside the EU we do not charge Dutch VAT; what applies in the customer's own country is determined by the tax authority there.
Every entity that is itself a notifier needs its own registration. Contact us at info@travas.eu and we will look at a framework arrangement at group level.
